Postcard from Marrakech

After 30 minutes of walking through Medina, I was ready to fly back home. Being sensitive to noise, crowds and scents, I was hit in the face with intensity of it all so high, I didn’t know what to do with myself.

And then, by the time were packing to go home 5 days later, I was in love with every bit of Marrakech and so very comfortable walking through narrow streets, minding donkeys, mopeds and bikes over my shoulder, soaking up the chaos, sunshine, scents of street food. I would absolutely go back there.

I feel deep gratitude for women in my life, some of them I get to travel with and experience crazy magic like you will see below.

About the balloon flight: I don’t like heights and when I walk across the Forth Bridge, my whole body is tingling and if I look up, I panic. I experienced NONE of it during the whole balloon flight, and my friends said the same thing. Our captain, Nicole, told us that the 4 best places in the world to fly are in: Cappadocia (160 balloons total), Marrakech (60 balloons), Luxor and Mexico. I wish each of you to be able to do it once in your lifetime, it’s spectacular beyond my ability to express it, and I feel that having other balloons fly arounds you is the best part of it.
