Every time I’m invited to photograph a newborn, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. It’s a privilege to be welcomed into such a tender chapter of a family's life.

There’s a quiet, almost sacred calm that surrounds a home with a new baby. Even with a lively toddler or a curious pet in the mix, that soft stillness somehow remains. It’s as if the baby carries it with them — a presence full of honesty, gentleness, and that fragile kind of strength that stops you in your tracks.

In those moments, I find myself moving slower, speaking softer, simply taking it all in. Often with misty eyes behind the camera.
